Question by Ohmylegsaresore: What is a great Halloween night movie to watch?
My friend and I are planning on chilling out and watching a movie for Halloween this year. We both have never seen a horror movie, so please no SAW suggestions(:
We were considering a movie like Carrie or Alien.

You should get Trick ‘r Treat. It’s not scary, but it sure is a fun little Halloween themed movie, a la Creepshow and Trilogy of Terror. Four horror-themed stories are intertwined together, all of the stories taking place on the same day, in the same town. It’s a very fun little Halloween themed movie.

Alternately, I would suggest Les Diaboliques, which is a French, black-and-white ghost story from the 50s. It is incredibly terrifying, and if you don’t mind a slow entry, and subtitles, I would highly recommend it, as it is one of the scariest films I have ever seen.

I would also highly recommend The Blair Witch Project, Session 9, Signs, Creep, The Descent, Play Misty For Me, Drag Me To Hell, Teeth, the 1979 version of When A Stranger Calls, Dario Argento’s The Three Mothers trilogy — in order, Suspiria, Inferno, Mother of Tears — and the Japanese Ringu series, in order: Ring: Kanzenban, Ring, Ring II, Ring 0: Birthday, Rasen.

if it were to rain so bad on halloween night, what would happen? would people still go out regardless of the heavy rain, or stay home and hope the following day is better and hope people still got candy.

it sad if it were to happen, especially on the people who spend lot of money on costumes that are not going to use.

Halloween Night 2011 is on it\’s way, which means that it\’s time to start making your Halloween costumes and grab the kids ready to go trick or treating.

All you need are some old clothes that you can tear and cut up a little so some strips are hanging down, along with some white face paint or make up and dark ringed panda eyes. Throw in some stage blood and you\’re all ready to go scare the neighbours.

Remember Halloween doesn\’t have to cost the earth and your kids Halloween costumes can be more effective that store bought ones if you just prepare beforehand and spend a couple of evenings getting them ready before Halloween arrives.

In fact if you go online and order some simple face paints and a bottle of fake blood you can create more or less any Halloween costume for kids or for adults very cheaply and very easily.
