Before Halloween comes upon us, we have to think about that special costume for this year. If you are having trouble deciding let me assure you that the Superman Outfit is always a winner. There are so many great superman outfits available for the whole family. These outfits come in adult, teen, toddler, and infant sizes. Woman are not excluded either, you can be a super girl this year for that Halloween party.

Superman has been popular since the early 1930’s. This iconic super hero is globally known and is a favorite of many.  Superman was first famous in the dc comics and cartoons. Later in the early 1980’s the movie industry brought the legendary hero back to life with several movies. Children everywhere were on the Superman craze. Then again in the 1990’s, television made a series about Clark Kent and Lois Lane and the New Adventures of Superman. Needless to say, this Superman Outfit will be recognized by everybody and look great this Halloween season.

You can purchase a basic, simple costume of Superman, or you can find an elaborate, detailed outfit that has a professional look. It all depends on what you want to spend.  Each Superman Outfit should have the blue form, fitted shirt with the signature S on the front of the shirt in red and yellow. The blue tights are worn with the red briefs that go over the tights with a yellow belt. Some costumes come complete with fake muscles in the chest and arms. But if you buy a cheaper suit, you can purchase foam in the craft department at Wal-Mart and make your own fake muscles for that added effect.

The knee high red boots are also an accessory that is needed to make your superman outfit stand out. If you are having trouble finding red boots a simple solution is to find a rubber type boot that hugs the calf of your leg and spray paint the boots red.  Be sure that the paint will stick well to rubber so that the paint will not peel off when you start walking. You will wear socks but they should not be seen outside your boots. The “S” shield on the front of the shirt makes the costume stand out and lets you know that it is truly a Superman Outfit.   

The cape is the last added touch to any superman costume. This long red cape can have an “S” logo on the back or not. It is up to you how much you want to spend to make it look official. If you are looking for the super girl costume you can replace the red briefs with a short red mini shirt. Everything else is basically the same, with the same “S” symbol on the shirt. The adult superman outfit has been a top seller for many years past. They are even used for other special events and parties.

Your children will also look great as the super hero. Little ones love to be superman and infants are too cute as the super hero. Your whole family can get involved and dress alike.  Superman costumes are also available for your pets.  No one will wonder who you are trying to portray, and no one has to be left out on the Superman craze.  You could add a creative twist and dress as Clark Kent and your wife as Louis Lane.

Clark Kent is an easy outfit with a dress shirt and tie, slacks and dress shoes. The important part of that outfit would be the black rim glasses and the dark hair and Clark Kent’s hair style.  Louis Lane wears a business attire suit with a short shirt and high heel shoes.  The children can dress in the classic Superman Outfit and the family can cover the whole spectrum of Superman. You will be the talk of the Halloween party and your pictures will be priceless.
